The New York based band Phoenix Reign has a line up that 3/5 is made from fellow patriots (both guitarists and the bass player) and their debut "Destination Unknown" comes after a series of demos and performances with bands like Zandelle, Gothic Knights, Lynch Mob, Winger and Riot. Musically they produce a clear and real metal sound, exploring some epic/power elements and with their songwriting intelligence, the result of their 10 compositions (plus one intro), does not leave any room for objections...generally speaking the effort is praise worthy and deserves our support. The outstanding 11 minute long "Constantinople 1453" which refers to the last moments of the city before the fall, is without a doubt their top moment. Ask for this album.
